A Week of Miracles and Magic

Five days ago, I was a different person. The measure of gratitude and honor I feel towards my spiritual “squad” (my ancestors, guides, angels, ascended masters and now, saints) is too great for mere words to describe. This has been a week of miracles and magic! Truly!

My grandmother was a devout Catholic. She had an altar, which she kept behind a partition, that she prayed at every day. She had rosaries, crosses, photos of Jesus, and various saints throughout her home. When she passed, I inherited her bibles, several of her rosaries, and her energy in Spirit as one of my reluctant but ever-present ancestral guides.

One of her most beloved saints was St. Jude, the patron saint of “impossible causes”. I knew of St. Jude but have never invoked or petitioned him. That all changed three days ago. A couple of days before that, I found myself fervently petitioning St. Expedite, the patron saint of “speedy delivery”, for a miracle. I had only heard of St. Expedite but, somehow, at 4:30 am on a Monday morning, I lay in my bed, asking for his intercession, promising to create an altar for him when he answered my prayer. I included St. Jude in that prayer, too, but only as an afterthought. Within 4 hours of that petition – which was simply an intentional, focused prayer – I received my miracle. I’m still in shock.

And, yes, I created an altar for St. Expedite that very day.

Then, three days ago, when I called on St. Jude to help resolve what seemed like a potentially lost cause, I felt my grandmother’s presence and the deep assurance – a knowing – that everything was going to work out for the highest good of all. And it certainly did. It is said that to honor St. Jude when a prayer has been answered, a simple public acknowledgement will do.

There may come a time where I expand on what I know about these saints and their roles in various religions and spiritual practices, but this is not the time nor place. I simply want to publicly acknowledge my wondrous and profound gratitude for St. Jude and St. Expedite’s grace and favor!

I am a different person than I was five days ago – stronger, more faithful, more hopeful, lighter in spirit and truly looking forward to how my continued collaboration with Spirit unfolds in my life… and yours. Stay tuned.

Our divine source is always, all ways, working in our favor.

Peace & Blessings
